Mr. William Obeng Owiredu

William Obeng Owiredu is the Global Business Manager and Partner of WILTUM Business Limited. A graduate from the school of Social Science and Psychology at Western Sydney University (Australia) with a double degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice. Mr William Obeng Owiredu began his career with the local Government – Blacktown Local Government or the Blacktown Council, working in the Community Development Team. At Blacktown Local Government, he worked with Community Development Team, a team that was responsible in developing Strategic policies and plans to ensure fair distribution of infrastructural amenities and resources in the suburbs within the Blacktown Local Government Area. The team also developed targeted polices to ensure a cohesive and thriving community. Mr. William Obeng Owiredu then moved to work at the State of New South Wales Department of Community and Justice, working in the Child protection team, moving on to work at the Community Justice Program, Juvenile Justice, and the Criminal Justice System.
Mr William Obeng Owiredu currently serves as a Deputy Returning Officer for the Australia Labor Party (ALP) in the Cumberland West Electorate.
Mr William Obeng Owiredu is also a member of the Greater Cumberland Chamber of Commerce at the Cumberland Local Government Area or Cumberland Council, where he serves as the representative for the African Australian Community and Business.
